The Chair will serve as a forum of dialogue, reflection and research for students at all levels and will provide knowledge and expertise. Registered students, as well as learners from other departments or universities, may participate in research and discussion groups focusing in specific thematic areas.

The groups study EU current legislation and case-law and collect related articles which will be used for the production of new teaching material. The chairholder convene each group in order to discuss the collected documentation, debate crucial issues and produce, along with the guidance of the chairholder and the PhD Candidates, Research Essays that will be published online. The Chair will also host specialists and experts for guest lectures.
