The Jean Monnet Chair «New Dimensions on EU Legal Studies» is based on the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Macedonia. The main purpose of the Chair is the stimulation of teaching and research in the field of the Law of the European Union.

The Chair is awarded to Assistant Professor Despoina Anagnostopoulou in 2012 (now Associate Professor), and is funded by the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Commission.
